The $468 Nightly Routine

The $468 Nightly Routine

“A lot of you have been asking about my nightly routine” …kidding. I’m no influencer (or am I?).

All products considered, my nightly routine comes in at $468 and I’m not keeping it a secret.

Let’s start with the skincare portion. Each night, I do a double cleanse, wiping the day off with a cotton oval doused in Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water (($9) and follow that up with Shiseido Waso Quick Gentle Cleanser ($28).

In the shower, I use a muslin cloth ($8) to gently wipe the cleanser off in a circular motion and rinse my face. After showering, Herbivore Rose Hibiscus Hydrating Face Mist ($32) is the first thing on my face. I spray it directly on and do a gentle wipe-down/pat with a cotton ball. Next up is Origins Original Skin Essence Lotion ($31). I rub this in my hands and gently press it onto my skin, using a jade roller to help it absorb (and further smooth out my skin, of course).

After the jade roller comes the best facial oil ever, Phoenix from Herbivore ($88). Seriously, it’s the best. I know, I know, it’s pricey, but it lasts a while and your skin will literally glow. The finishing touch is Herbivore Pink Cloud Rosewater Moisture Creme ($48). I’m a sucker for all things rose-based because I have dry skin and Herbivore just does it right. I can trust their ingredients (my skin is also sensitive), the products are high-quality and the packaging…I mean hello, gorgeous.

Once my skin is in all sexy smooth, it’s time for nightly supplements. I usually take some of these before showering so they have time to settle in, but if I read for an hour before bed I take them afterward.

First, let’s cover the CBD portion. I’m a major advocate for quality CBD products. Please note they must be high-quality, not the low-quality stuff with coloring and fillers. My go-to in ensuring I’m not ingesting a bunch of nonsense is Lord Jones. I used to take PM Ibuprofen or allergy pills to make sure I’d fall asleep and sleep through the night, but that’s (obviously) not great for your liver, so I switched it up to things that are more natural and work with my body to ease me into relaxation, not shock me to sleep.

From Lord Jones, I take one CBD Gel Capsule ($95) and 3/4 of a dropper of CBD Tincture ($60) -peppermint is my preference- each night.

In addition to that, I take one Gaia Herbs Adrenal Health Nightly Restore capsule ($30). This is what my bottle looks like, but Gaia may have rebranded it to look like this. The recommended dosage is two capsules, but I find one works best for me- everyone’s vibe is different.

Lastly, Hum Nutrition recently came out with Mighty Night and I received a full 3-day sample in my monthly box. I tried it and was hooked. Highly recommend for restful sleep and great skin from within.

And that does it. These products will ensure you look and feel great on the outside and the inside…not to mention it’s just nice to have a solid nightly routine to get you into rest mode.
