Morning Coffee: The importance of moments

Let's face it, in this day and age everyone is always busy and thinking about the next thing on their to do list. Moments are forever fleeting, and rarely cherished...and sadly, it's what we've become accustomed to.
The importance of making moments happen has to become a priority, no matter what we have going on, and a little time management can go a long way. It doesn't even have to cost anything. Use what you have in your house...set an alarm 15 minutes early-and actually get up. Make coffee or tea, and spend a few early morning minutes with someone special. You'll be surprised at what random topics you end up talking about, and how that little bit of time spent together makes your whole day better. It's recommended that we meditate for a few minutes in the morning to go into the day with good energy. Many times we wake up to our alarms blaring and go straight into the morning frenzy. We all know it well:

OMG it's already time to get up. I gotta get coffee/tea, need to brush my my bag ready for the day?? Do I have everything???  Ugh I should've packed it all last night. I was so tired though! Do I have my charger? What's the weather going to be like today?? What should I wear?? WHERE IS MY BRA/WHERE ARE MY SOCKS??? Will I have time to eat breakfast? I need to check my calendar to see what's happening today. Oh let me check Instagram...oh crap it's Anthony's birthday! I need to get a gift!!!

It can go on and on...but it's always a fact-checking, list-checking frenzy. Prepare for your day as much as you can the night before, and wake up a little calmer. Make the coffee, make the tea...and sit down to chat over it.

No time in the morning? There's ALWAYS a way to figure something out. Grab a drink at the end of the day or night when you're both free. Funds low? Grab a bottle of wine or whatever tickles your fancy, and meet up at one house or another, or somewhere in between. There is ALWAYS a way to make time happen, and it's so important to make it happen. Small gestures go a looooong way.
If you didn't get the chance to make time happen this year, only a few days are left until the new year. Go into it with intention. Add "make time" to your resolution list. The people you make it for will notice, and it will mean the world to them.

Wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas!

Until next time, amazing people..

Slow down for peace, love and moments.
